My view of the world is shaped by my life north and south of the equator—in the US and Australia—and by my experiences in journalism (especially public radio) and media relations.

As a freelance journalist, I’ve been a reporter and producer at The World for WGBH-BBC and a copy editor at the Christian Science Monitor. I’ve also specialized in media relations, for Special Olympics Massachusetts and the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games. I started my career as a producer of oral histories and documentaries, and I'm a former professional singer now a member of several Boston-area choirs.
