Media Lab spinoff Butlr, co-founded by former Labbers Honghao Deng (City Science) and Jiani Zeng (Object-Based Media), has been named as one of the World Economic Forum's 2022 Technology Pioneers. 

The World Economic Forum has chosen 100 innovative tech firms based in 30 countries to join its Technology Pioneers community. The 2022 cohort is focused on solving some of the world’s most pressing issues such as climate change, cybersecurity, and more—forging new paths with cutting-edge technologies.
