How prepared are our digital infrastructures—and our cities—for the transition to a quantum-secure world?
Cities are complex social ecosystems where human interactions, economic activity, and environmental dynamics unfold. As urban systems become increasingly digital, their functioning depends on secure information infrastructures built on classical cryptography.

In collaboration with Lighthouse Disruptive Innovation Group (LDIG), this project explores how emerging quantum computing technologies may reshape this landscape, potentially making some of today’s encryption methods vulnerable. 

The project combines quantum algorithm research, cybersecurity modeling, and infrastructure resilience.

It includes the work Efficient Quantum Modular Arithmetics for the ISQ Era, which develops optimized arithmetic primitives that enable realistic modeling of quantum cryptanalytic attacks.
