The goal of this project is to allow a user with a Bluetooth-enabled cell phone or PDA to gather personally relevant information about, and interact with, inanimate objects such as books, tabletops, or works of art in the user's vicinity. The system allows users to passively gather information about their environment and get just-in-time reminders or suggestions from useful objects in the environment. For example, walking into a room full of augmented books, the books of interest to the user "blink" their LEDs, thereby making it easier for the user to find the books that may be of interest.
