We are exploring the impact of mobile phones on the future of credit card usage and payments. We are attempting to reinvent the payment process through mobile devices by providing users with tools to help reflect on their finances and eating habits. We have deployed the Meal Time system on the MIT campus, interlinking it with MIT's TechCASH payment system. Students have been actively using it to share their experiences and choose locations to eat.
