Delivery workers, ridehail drivers, and other gig workers are increasingly controlled through algorithmic decision-making, fueled by data about their behavior while on and off the clock. Gigbox is a collection of tools and projects aimed at helping workers collect and pool data about their experience in a privacy-preserving way to help them build power, help researchers understand the gig economy more fully, and help advocates more effectively plan for the future of work.
