We’re excited to welcome DENSO to the MIT Media Lab community as a new Member.

DENSO’s philosophy, “contributing to a better world by creating value together with a
vision for the future,” aligns closely with the Media Lab, where researchers, students,
and member organizations work across disciplines to imagine, design, and invent
futures in which more people can flourish.

From mobility, semiconductors, and automated driving to AI, robotics, data science,
and next-generation energy systems, DENSO is working on technologies that can help
make everyday life safer, more connected, and more sustainable. Its idea of “Crafting
the Core” — building the essential systems that create a sense of well-being and peace
of mind — also feels like a natural fit with the Lab’s focus on transformative research
with real societal impact.

We’re so happy to welcome DENSO into this community and look forward to the
