Two papers from the Signal Kinetics research group were honored at the IEEE RFID conference in Seattle, WA this year. Tara Boroushaki, Maisy Lam, Weitung Chen, Laura Dodds, Aline Eid, and Fadel Adib were awarded Best Paper for their work titled Exploiting Synergies between Augmented Reality and RFIDs for Item Localization and Retrieval.
A second paper authored by Laura Dodds, Nazish Naeem, Aline Eid, and Fadel Adib entitled Software-Controlled Polarization for Longer-Range RFID Reading and Localization was deemed the Best Paper runner-up.
