During the 2022 Spring Meeting, the following startups affiliated with the Media Lab will be presenting (hosted by the E14 Fund):

Butlr
Butlr has developed a breakthrough people sensing platform using wireless, thermal sensors to understand human presence and activity. They have been deployed in corporate real estate, retail, and senior living use cases.

DxLab
DxLab is developing point-of-care (POC) diagnostics systems for rapid and accurate detection of diseases and health conditions. Combining proprietary platform technology with target detection and signal processing methods, they are advancing a pipeline of POC tests for pathogens and biomarkers.

Elemind
Elemind is a neurotechnology company whose products use novel neuromodulation techniques to shape brainwaves and change brain states.

Empatica
Empatica's platform uses biosensors to detect unique components of human physiology that are distilled in AI-based algorithms. They continuously and remotely monitor a range of health conditions and physiological signals.

Figur8
Figur8 has made objective musculoskeletal (MSK) health data accessible with their health measurement solution designed for every point of care. Figur8 MSK health data helps payers to better manage and predict claim costs, providers to develop personalized treatment plans, and patients to recover faster.

Formlabs
Formlabs is expanding access to digital fabrication, so anyone can make anything. Formlabs is the professional 3D printer of choice for engineers, designers, manufacturers, dental and medical professionals, and decision makers around the globe.

Ketryx
Ketryx is an end-to-end software development and deployment platform that empowers regulated software teams to develop fast and stay compliant. Designed to increase developer productivity and reduce quality overhead, FDA-regulated software teams use Ketryx to build and deploy safety-critical applications faster than ever before.

Labby
AI-enabled optical sensing for raw milk testing on the farm.

Mapless
Mapless AI is bringing the car rental experience into the 21st century with Hitch. Hitch autonomously delivers a car to the user within minutes at the tap of a button, parks itself during stops, and drives itself home to its hub when the user is done with the trip.

Micromize
Micromize is developing miniaturized, energy-efficient, and low-cost electronics for mobile and wearable devices. Their technology will make these devices lighter and more compact, prolong their battery life, boost performance, improve thermal management, and reduce cost.

OPT Industries
OPT Industries invents material systems to design and manufacture products at the micron-scale. Using vertically integrated machinery, software, and design expertise, OPT provides customers precision-engineered products at high volumes and with shortened lead times.

Ramona Optics
Gigapixel microscopy: real-time imaging over 100x larger field-of-view.

Regent Craft
Electric boat-planes for fast, affordable regional transportation.

Robigo
Robigo is engineering the plant microbiome to create a more sustainable food system.

SourcemapSourcemap is the supply chain transparency company, helping consumers and companies trace products to the source and ensure standards are met every step of the way.

ThruWave
ThruWave makes the invisible visible with human-safe millimeter waves. ThruWave’s high throughput X2 mmWave Imaging System enables unprecedented supply chain visibility by enabling warehouse and fulfillment center operators to see through packaging to the items inside.

Tulip
Tulip helps companies equip their frontline workforce—leading to improved productivity, higher quality, and increased efficiency across their operations. With Tulip’s no-code platform, companies can empower those closest to operations to digitally transform processes, guide frontline workers, and gain real-time visibility into the people, tools, machines, and processes involved.

Tutor Intelligence
Tutor Intelligence is the world’s first robot staffing agency, providing drop-in robots by the hour for picking and packaging. Their robots are powered by a hybrid human/AI intelligence engine that enables deployments in minutes not months, and at a fraction of the cost of traditional automation.

Ubicept
Ubicept revolutionizes how machines perceive the world by combining next-generation image sensors with computer vision algorithms.

Volta Labs
Volta is building a sequencing technology agnostic platform that spans from the raw biological sample to sequenceable molecules. Volta is reinventing the full stack—hardware, software, chemistry, and biology—to create simple, flexible, and powerful solutions for sample preparation and beyond.

Wise Systems
Wise Systems’ AI-driven dispatch and routing software enables the perfect delivery experience. For last-mile operations competing in a dynamic world, the Wise Systems platform uses machine learning to continuously improve fleet efficiency, performance, and customer service.
