Srishti Sethi, an alum from the Lifelong Kindergarten group, has received an Open Education Global Award in the "People of Open: Open Individuals" category. The award recognizes individuals who have made exceptional contributions to advancing openness in education.
Selected from 193 nominations across 42 countries, this year’s 31 award winners were announced during the OEGlobal Live show on October 17. Sethi was recognized for over 15 years of leadership in open education and open source, developing innovative tools, mentorship programs, and community initiatives that expand equitable access to learning worldwide.
She currently serves as a Senior Developer Advocate at the Wikimedia Foundation, supporting its mission to provide free knowledge for all.
