Conformable Decoders

Farita Tasnim, a PhD student in the Responsive Environments group, has been chosen as a winner of the 2021 National Center for Women in Technology (NCWIT) Collegiate Award for her work on the Real-Time Decoding of Facial Strains via Conformable Piezoelectric Interfaces (cFaCES) project, which she completed during her time as a master's student in the Conformable Decoders group. 

Presented by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), these awards recognize technical contributions to projects that demonstrate a high level of innovation and potential impact. The 2021 awards honored 82 undergraduate and graduate students who self-identify as women, genderqueer, or non-binary from 57 academic institutions nationwide.
