Yasith Samaradivakara

Yasith Samaradivakara is a freestyle technologist, researcher, and engineer at Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a background in Information and Embedded Systems, Computer Science, and Artificial Intelligence. His research focuses on Behavioral AI, Personalization, and Proactive Interactions, exploring how multimodal always-on wearables and intelligent systems can be seamlessly integrated into everyday life in ways that feel connected, unobtrusive, and accessible, ultimately enhancing daily well-being.

Over more than a decade, he has worked across research labs, startups, and large technology companies to build and deploy hardware, software, and AI-based systems. His research has been published in leading venues, including CHI, EMNLP, IUI, UIST, and Augmented Humans, and recognized by Prototypes for Humanity, the Meta Impact Innovation Awards, and Google Research.
