  • Conformable Decoders

Jin-Hoon Kim received his Ph.D. in Material Science and Engineering at Yonsei University, South Korea. During his Ph.D., he focused on the development of the mechanically stretchable and transparent electrodes for soft electronics. He developed transparent and highly adhesive electrodes for biological signal recording such as electrocardiogram (ECG), and body motion. He also firstly designed intrinsically stretchable organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on intrinsically stretchable constituent materials.

His research interest lies in development of mechanically soft multi-modal sensor arrays for monitoring the biological and environmental signals throughout the human body. He is also interested in fabrication of the mechanically and optically invisible neural probes for neural recording and stimulation.
