Jon's masters thesis is on the topic of synthetic music listeners, which includes a number of inventions including the GST filterbank for time-frequency analysis and a perceptual framework for computational pitch perception.  Jon is currently working as a math teacher specializing in enrichment and special needs education.  Jon is also a musician, his web site can be found at https://jonfeldman.com and his BandCamp page at https://jonfeldman.bandcamp.com.  In his spare time he conducts research on harmony and voice leading across many genres of music and writes about computational ethnomusicology.
