Iñigo Azcárate

Iñigo Azcarate Urrutia is a visiting student in the City Science group. He has a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Technology Engineering from Tecnun, Universidad de Navarra, in San Sebastian Spain. He is now working towards an Industrial Engineering Master's degree at Tecnun where his thesis is a collaboration with the MIT City Science team.

His research is focused on exploring high-level regional mobility solutions aimed at decarbonizing the transportation system. He is developing AI mobility mode choice tools that facilitate policy making to foster sustainable regions. As part of his work, Iñigo collaborates with the City Science Lab @Gipuzkoa targeting commuting behavior change through diverse interventions.
