Gauri Gupta

Gauri is a graduate student at MIT with the Camera Culture group working with Prof. Ramesh Raskar. Her work focuses on Decentralized and Collaborative Machine Learning, Private Machine Learning, and Representation-based learning. Her research explores how AI agents can collaborate in untrusted environments without relying on centralized oversight. In this new paradigm of the "network of AI agents", her work tackles challenges such as co-learning with others, agent discovery, and collaborator selection optimization.

She spent her summer at Apple MLR with Samy Bengio's team where she worked on multi-modal foundation model building.

Before joining MIT, she did her bachelor's from IIT Delhi majoring in Mathematics and Computing. She also has experience working in research teams at Adobe and Amazon.

She has published her research at top AI venues including AAAI, ICML, ICLR, AAMAS, etc. and also received Best Student paper award. She is also a recipient of the Charpak Lab Research Scholarship and also has US Patent for her research work at Adobe.
