- Viral Communications
Erick is a first-year graduate student in the Viral Communications Group working on Liquid Learning. Erick's research and design interests intersect cognition, communication, computation, and culture. In particular, he's concerned with socio-technical problems related to the distributional nature of biological (ecological and genetic engineering) and computational (transformer circuits) technologies. From an engineering perspective, Erick is motivated by building state-of-the-art solutions that address these problems. Before joining the Media Lab, he studied computer engineering at Wichita State University in Wichita, Kansas (🌻), where he was born and raised.
