Diego Antonelli is currently an NTT DATA Visiting Scientist at MIT Media Lab.
He gained his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Computer Engineering at the University of Naples Federico II, focusing on Artificial Intelligence. During his studies, he joined the Apple Developer Academy, where he had the opportunity to study Design, Mobile App Development, Business, and Marketing.
After his experience in the Netherlands at the University of Twente and IBM, he joined NTT DATA Italy as an Artificial Intelligence Consultant. He later took international roles with NTT DATA Japan, leading the Natural Language Processing and Trustworthy AI Special Interest Groups. Subsequently, Diego joined the NTT DATA team in Boston, collaborating with MIT.
He is currently working with the Media Lab on the following topics:
- Digital Twins Platform for City Planning;
- AI-Generated Characters and Deepfakes for Business and Good Use Cases;
- Digital Therapeutics solutions for Alzheimer's patients;
