Britney Johnson was a graduate research assistant in the Viral Communications group headed by Andrew Lippman. Currently, she is a PhD student at Georgia Tech studying computing, specifically data, and its effect on society. Her interests lie at the intersection of culture, technology, social impact, and civic engagement. She's also passionate about inclusion and representation within various fields, especially technology.

Prior to joining the MIT Media Lab, Britney gained experience while in roles at Duke University, NASA, and the University of Oxford. She has also spent time conducting research at Adobe.
