Samsung hacks was a three-day event that brought together engineers, designers, and interdisciplinary graduate and undergraduate students for a weekend of ideating, designing, and building new experiences that put users at the center of their wellbeing. The event was held in person at the Media Lab in collaboration with Samsung Research Experience & Insights Lab.
The $8,000 cash prize was shared between three winning teams.

Samsung’s ecosystem is designed to provide personal and intuitive experiences that support people with their health and wellness. For continual innovation, we must apply emerging technology and user-centric design at the very earlier stages of this process.
Projection complements our environment by naturally overlaying information. It creates the illusion of blending the physical with the virtual world around us by creating immersiveness without isolation.
