A number of Media Lab researchers are participating in UIST 2025, an interdisciplinary conference which brings together international researchers, designers, developers, and practitioners to present and discuss innovations in human-computer interfaces.
This year's conference will be held in Busan, Republic of Korea.
- Cedric Honnet, a PhD student in the Responsive Environment group, is going to present project FiberCircuits: A Miniaturization Framework To Manufacture Fibers That Embed Integrated Circuits.
- Perry Naseck and Lancelot Blanchard, students in the Responsive Environment group, are going to present project Generic Pan Tilt: Open Source Motion Control Platform for Entertainment and Research
- Students in the Tangible Media group, led by first author Lucy Li, present: "BioLIG: Functionalizing Biocomposites with Laser-induced Graphene for Bio-Rapid Prototyping of Electronics"
- Hye Jun Youn, a researcher in the Tangible Media group, is going to present two projects: 1) PixBric: Precision Morphological Control of Pre-Stretched Fabrics Through Tessellated Primitive Geometries, and 2) MeshModule: A Playful Modular Mesh System for Creative Construction
