Lucy is a designer and researcher with a focus on interaction design. Her works are sociopolitical and intrinsically optimistic. She builds prototypes to illustrate bold alternatives to the present and make choices experienceable that are difficult to imagine. Her passion lies in human human  interactions meditated by technologies and multi-species justice in a time of climate crisis.

 Lucy holds a Masters degree in Industrial Design from the University of Applied Arts, Vienna advised by Anab Jain, Studio Superflux and was a visiting student at University of Lapland, Finland, where she learned about artic design methodologies tailored to the unique environmental, cultural, and political challenges of the Arctic region.

Her cooperation partners and clients include Sámi Education Institute, Wirtschaftsagentur Wien and Het Nieuwe Instituut. Her works are part of international exhibitions and festivals: London Design Week (GB), Vienna Design Week (AT), Ars Electronica (AT), Nordic Film Festival NO), Museum of Applied Arts (AT), Triennale di Milano (IT), Shenzhen Biennale (CN).

Lucy is the recipient of the Fulbright Student Scholarship.
