Greg Daniels, an Emmy award-winning writer, showrunner, producer and director will give a talk “Imagining an Anoitopia” at the MIT Media Lab as part of  Virtual Beings & Being Virtual, a one day workshop focused on the technologies, applications and ethics of virtual humans and synthetic AI characters, organized by the Media Lab with NTT Data on April 14, 2022. Registration is required to attend the talk in person; it will also be livestreamed for the general public.

Greg Daniels is an Emmy award-winning writer, showrunner, producer and director behind some of the most iconic series and characters in TV.

Daniels developed The Office (US), and co-created Parks and Recreation and the critically acclaimed King of the Hill.

In 2022, Daniels returned with the Amazon Original sci-fi comedy Upload, Netflix’s Space Force and the new HBO Max show My Mom, Your Dad.

Daniels started out writing for SNL, Seinfeld and The Simpsons.
