Launched in 2007, the Scratch Online Community enables children, primarily between the ages of 8 and 16, to share interactive media such as games, stories, and animations created with the Scratch programming environment. As of 2023, more than 100 million people have joined the Scratch Online Community. They have shared more than 130 million projects and posted more than 800 million comments.
