OpenCBDC raised the bar for CBDC performance and viability. In this subsequent work, we have explored raising the standard of privacy offered to users (further reducing sensitive information revelation) while giving the Central Bank operating the system additional guarantees and insight into its monetary supply.
This research offers a schematic for how a Central Bank can enforce compliance requirements while preserving user privacy.
