In this project we are attempting to create a large set of simple, mobile, wirelessly connected computing units and to treat them as a physical test-bed to explore and demonstrate ad hoc routing and self-organization, active networking, distributed multicasting, and distributed storage of information. These networks are characterized by ad hoc organizations and mobility, and they feature cooperative computing and transmission techniques operating in real-time, and performing distributed processing functions of media delivery and sensing.
