This project explores the use of passive acoustic sensing in automobiles. We are building acoustic sensing equimpment suitable for automotive use, and developing algorithims and heuristics for dynamically extracting driver-relevant information from the acoustic data stream (i.e. location, trajectory, and acceleration of nearby vehicles).
