L&T Technology Services

We’re pleased to welcome L&T Technology Services (LTTS) to the MIT Media Lab community as our newest member.

LTTS, a global leader in AI, digital engineering, and ER&D consulting, joins our network of researchers, creators, and innovators working at the intersection of art, science, engineering, and design to explore what's possible and build what’s next.

Through this multi-year agreement, LTTS becomes part of a dynamic community where breakthrough ideas are sparked through open collaboration—where curiosity is as essential as code, and progress is measured not only by performance but by impact on people and the planet.

“We are delighted to join the MIT Media Lab, a dynamic and creative interdisciplinary research sandbox,” said Amit Chadha, CEO and Managing Director of LTTS. “This collaboration underscores LTTS’ commitment to pushing the boundaries of engineering excellence.

From exploring Agentic AI to early AGI application roadmaps, we are setting a course to shape the future of industries reliant on mobility, sustainability and tech.

LTTS brings deep technical expertise and a clear ambition: to lead innovation in smart mobility systems, sustainable infrastructure, and AI that solves complex, real-world challenges. As part of the Lab’s open innovation model, LTTS will engage in dialogue, exploration, and idea exchange with researchers and fellow consortium members—driving toward practical applications and ethical outcomes.

“Collaborating with LTTS opens exciting opportunities to engage with AI, data, and design thinking in addressing real-world challenges in mobility, sustainability, and technology,” said Jessica Rosenworcel, Executive Director of the MIT Media Lab. “Together, we’ll explore the boundaries of what’s possible to inspire meaningful impact at a global scale.”

In addition to joining the Lab’s community, LTTS will convene key industry events on campus—including the Digital Engineering Awards (DEA) and Advisory Council meetings. These forums will serve as springboards for collective insight, strategic roadmapping, and engineering breakthroughs.

We look forward to the fresh perspectives and contributions LTTS will bring. Their arrival reflects our shared commitment to shaping a more creative, resilient, and sustainable future—one that is human-centered, systems-minded, and always grounded in invention.
