OGE (Office of Graduate Education)
Staff in the OGE can provide advice and counsel on a variety of issues including faculty/student relationships, conflict negotiation, funding, academic progress, interpersonal concerns, and a student’s rights and responsibilities. They can also help with excused absences and provide clarification about graduate policies and procedures.
GSC is made up of many student leaders/committee members who work with MIT administration and faculty on graduate student issues. They plan and host MIT Graduate Orientation and offer funding for student activities (application needed).
The Registrar handles all issues with registration, maintaining student status, and completion of the degree. They can offer confirmation of enrollment letters as well as transcripts, copies of diploma, etc.

Students are responsible for coordinating directly with ISO about their visas. MAS and admins are not expected to keep up-to-date records on student visas due to privacy reasons.
