Congratulations to the Media Lab’s 2025 MIT Presidential Fellowship recipients: Sarah Barreto Ornellas, a student in the Conformable Decoders group, Isabella Pu, a student in the Personal Robots group, Lucy Li, a student in theTangible Media group, Perry Naseck, a student in the Responsive Environment group, and Hao-Tung Yang, a student in the Nano-Cybernetic Biotrek group.

Established in 1999, the MIT Presidential Fellowship is one of the Institute’s graduate awards supporting outstanding incoming students through their first academic year. Recipients are selected by the MIT President and Provost based on nominations from academic leadership across departments and programs.
