Researchers from the Fluid Interfaces group have been named among the 70 global recipients of the 2024 Amazon Research Award for their project "Understanding How LLM Agents Deviate from Human Choices." The award recognizes the research led by graduate student Manuel Cherep, under the supervision of Professor Pattie Maes.
The Amazon Research Awards (ARA) provide unrestricted funding and AWS Promotional Credits to support academic work across disciplines. This year’s awardees represent 44 universities in 10 countries and gain access to Amazon’s public datasets and AI/ML tools to support their research.
