Manuel is a Research Assistant interested in interpretable and controllable generative models to gain deeper insights into cognitive and affective processes of both human and non-human animals. His research currently centers on studying how we perceive and feel sound, leveraging these to explore affective interventions and creative applications. He has a background in mathematics and computer science (BSc, UPM), and machine learning (MSc, EPFL). He's a Fulbright, "la Caixa", and Rafael del Pino fellow, with nearly six years of industry experience as a full-stack software engineer and as an AI engineer at Logitech.
