Leonard Francis Vibbi, a master's student in the Center for Constructive Communication, has been selected as one of seven Graduate SERC Scholars (Social and Ethical Responsibilities of Computing Scholars) for the 2022 Independent Activities Period (IAP).  His work will focus on refining Ethical Computing Protocol as a tool and resource for researchers and practitioners.

The MIT Schwarzman College of Computing selects SERC Scholars from across the Institute, cutting across various schools, departments, and disciplines. The Scholars have opportunities to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams; develop and pilot new SERC course materials in collaboration with postdocs and faculty; engage with external partners to advance AI in the public interest; and conduct research in an exciting, new cross-disciplinary area.
