Joe Paradiso, Professor of Media Arts and Sciences and head of the Responsive Environments group, has been elevated to IEEE Fellow — the organization’s highest grade of membership. Effective January 1, 2026, the recognition honors his influential contributions to wearable wireless sensing and mobile energy harvesting.
The IEEE Fellow distinction is awarded to only 0.1% of the organization’s voting membership each year, acknowledging individuals whose work has made a lasting impact across engineering, computing, and technological innovation.
