On April 22, 2025 at the Multicultural Arts Center in Cambridge, MA, Dava Newman was named the Margret & H.A. Rey Curiosity Award recipient as part of a 20th Anniversary Science Soirée.

The event celebrated 20 years of Catalyst Collaborative@MIT accomplishments and the future of science on stage. Dr. Newman was joined by fellow honoree, Alan Lightman (physicist, novelist, essayist, and co-founder of CC@MIT).
