Data Provenance for AI, a research project by the Human Dynamics group and the MIT Center for Constructive Communication, received a 2024 Infrastructure Fund award from the Mozilla Foundation's Data Futures Lab (DFL). The project purpose is to improve transparency, documentation, and informed use of datasets in AI.
The DFL Infrastructure Fund supports projects developing open source tools that enable a more fair and trustworthy data economy. Awardees receive up to $50,000 according to the development stage of the project and opportunities to connect with Mozilla fellows and open source developers.
