- Lifelong Kindergarten
Jaleesa Trapp is a PhD candidate at the MIT Media Lab in the Lifelong Kindergarten Research Group. Her current research focus is developing community-centered creative learning spaces to support marginalized youth and their families. Prior to grad school she taught high school
computer science at the Science and Math Institute (SAMI) and the school of Industrial Design Engineering and Art (IDEA) and was the Coordinator at the Computer Clubhouse. Jaleesa received her bachelor's in Human Centered Design and Engineering from the University of Washington.
