The Fall Meeting will be held on-site at the MIT Media Lab, with a number of sessions livestreamed, from Tuesday, October 25 through Friday, October 28, 2022.

The meeting will feature research updates from all Media Lab research groups, focusing on current and future research, lab explorations, and special afternoon sessions that dive into topics like artificial intelligence and Web3. There will also be networking opportunities, receptions, the City Science Summit, and more.

Explore the preliminary agenda below, and be sure to register on our event platform! Please note that in-person registration is now closed. If you have been invited to attend in person, you may register on site at the Media Lab during the event. Employees of member companies, invited guests, and members of the Media Lab community may also register for virtual attendance.

    Join the City Science group for an audiovisual experience focused on the future of cities, and how they have been portrayed in film. This two-hour event will include an introduction, 45 minutes of film viewing and music, and time to discuss the films.

  • 9:10am: E14 Fund startups showcase in Multi-Purpose Room and E14 3rd-floor atrium
    Enjoy lightning talks, panel discussions, and demos from startups associated with the E14 Fund, the Media Lab early-stage deep tech fund. This is your chance to meet amazing founders solving large, impactful problems in a range of fields. Talks will be held in the MPR from 9:10–10:30am, then come downstairs to the 3rd-floor atrium for demonstrations until 12pm. 
  • 12:00pm: Lunch Break in 3rd-floor atrium

City Science Summit: Hyper-LOCAL Solutions to GLOBAL Challenges

  • 1:30pm: Event Kickoff
    A collaboration between the City Science research group and the Norman Foster Foundation. Please visit citysciencenetwork.org for a detailed agenda.
  • 5:00pm: Social + Reception
