Leticia Izquierdo, a PhD student in the Media Lab's City Science research group, will be presenting at the Madrid International Urban Forum 2025 organized by the Official College of Architects of Madrid (COAM), as part of the Madrid 2050 initiative. 

From December 9-11, Leticia will join the "Design Future Thinking" session to share research on data-enabled decision making for creating more livable and equitable communities. The forum brings together urban leaders, public administrators, architects, and academics to tackle the challenges shaping our cities, from demographic growth and housing innovation to sustainable mobility and urban regeneration. 

The presentation will focus on how cities can integrate technology and data-driven planning to create more responsive urban environments. It's an opportunity to contribute to the kind of cross-sector dialogue that drives real urban transformation, while learning from Madrid's vision for 2050.
