Ancestral Craft and Emerging Technologies: Designing Futures from Place

This talk presents a place-based approach to designing interactive systems that combine ancestral craft and emerging technologies. Through XR installations and robotic artworks developed in the Amazon rainforest, it shares methods for building non-generic futures grounded in local knowledge, material practices, collaboration and real-time graphics.
