The next City Science Network meeting took place on September 22 and featured a presentation by the City Science Lab @ Guadalajara team. During the session, they shared updates on their current research projects and reflected on recent events, including Hábitat LATAM, held on August 25–26 in Guadalajara, Mexico. Endorsed by UN-Habitat, the event is one of the region’s leading gatherings on sustainable urban development and brought together important conversations around cities, innovation, and policy.

The team also shared an update on the University of Guadalajara’s announcement of the “Kent Larson” chair, marking an exciting moment for the lab and its growing academic collaborations. Altogether, the meeting offered a valuable opportunity to hear more about the team’s recent work and regional engagement.
