Opera of the Future PhD student Manaswi Mishra will host a demo and performance with  musician, poet and technologist Kavish Seth, for an evening of Indian Music and Lutherie.

Kavish is the inventor of Noori, a patented musical instrument evolving from the guitar, rabab, oud, and sarod, designed as a global collaborative instrument capable of Hindustani, Western polyphony, and Arabic maqamat. Noori was recently featured on Coke Studio Bharat 2024. Watch it in action here.

He was recently awarded as the Most Talented Upcoming Musician by Central Ministers Piyush Goyal, and Devendra Fadnavis in the NavBharat Times award ceremony.  

He has been featured at independent music concerts, literature festivals, folk music festivals, and hundreds of intimate gatherings across venues in cities, villages, and towns of India and overseas. His music and poetry are rooted, reflective and represent India, yet his music appeals to people across the world.
