Wood describes her work, which ranges from advising national governments on space policy to developing future space technologies that are affordable and accessible around the world. Elaborating on her desire to partner with local leaders on space ventures, Wood describes a project with RFF and NASA’s VALUABLES Consortium that is assessing how satellite data can protect the health of Brazil’s fragile mangrove forests and inform conservation policy.
