Abstract

Major depressive disorder (MDD) is a serious and prevalent disease with a variable course. Ubiquitous smartphone technology has the potential to inform and improve clinical care by monitoring patients’ symptoms and behavioral patterns.The extent to which the changes in depressive symptoms can be predicted with cell phone data remains unknown.
