Yoonsoo Shin has been awarded the prestigious National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) Postdoctoral Fellowship for Nurturing Next-generation Researchers. He is a member of the Conformable Decoders research group led by Prof. Canan Dagdeviren at the MIT Media Lab. The group’s research focuses on the development of conformable and flexible electronic systems for healthcare and biomedical applications. Under the advisement of Prof. Dagdeviren, Yoonsoo’s research aligns with the group’s core directions:

• Developing next-generation, conformable electronic devices to monitor and enhance human health

• Integrating soft materials with ultrasound technology to enable innovative healthcare solutions

This NRF fellowship supports international research collaboration and scientific innovation by providing funding for Korean postdoctoral researchers to conduct research at world-leading institutions.
