Yoonsoo Shin has been awarded the prestigious MIT-Novo Nordisk Artificial Intelligence Postdoctoral Fellowship. He is a member of the Conformable Decoders research group led by
Prof. Canan Dagdeviren. The group’s research focuses on developing conformable and flexible electronic systems for healthcare and biomedical applications. Working under the advisement of Prof. Dagdeviren, Yoonsoo’s research will align with the group’s major research directions:
- Develop next-generation, conformable electronic devices to monitor and enhance human health.
- Integrate soft materials and advanced technologies to create innovative systems for wearable and implantable healthcare solutions.
The MIT-Novo Nordisk Artificial Intelligence Postdoctoral Fellows Program supports postdoctoral fellows conducting research at the intersection of AI, data science, and life sciences. Each year, the program supports up to ten fellows for a two-year term. Postdoctoral fellows participating in the program benefit from professional development opportunities, including entrepreneurship-focused workshops and mentorship from experts in life sciences and data science.
