Ahmed received the B.Sc. degree (with honors) in electronics and communication engineering from Mansoura University, Dakahlia, Egypt. After his graduation, he was appointed as Research/Teaching assistant at Zewail university for science and technology where he was performing research on passive millimeter wave devices at the Center for Nanotechnology. From 2018 to 2020, he was pursuing his M.Sc. degree from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. The research work was performed at Microwave and antenna research lab. His Master s’ thesis was about Metamaterial-inspired multiband Antennas.
Before Joining MIT, he was working as a Product Engineer in Si-ware systems, Egypt developing miniaturized FTIR spectroscopy-based products. His current research is focused in developing novel bioelectronic interfaces through custom materials and advanced nanofabrication techniques.
