Nonabah Lane, a member of the Navajo Nation, was a sustainability specialist and entrepreneur in environmental and cultural conscious business development, energy education, and tribal community commitment. She was a co-founder of Navajo Ethno-Agriculture, a farm that teaches Navajo culture through traditional farming and bilingual education. In addition, she was active in promoting and developing tribal sustainable energy strategies. In the private sector and government, Nonabah co-authored environmental impact statements, assessments, and land use planning grants related to Indian Trust Land. Her experiences with community development and financial institutions were focused on the social impact of investing in Native American communities. She was a Sequoyah Fellow of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES), a Cobell Scholar, and an MIT Solve team member for Indigenous Communities. Nonabah graduated from the University of Colorado-Boulder and the San Juan College School of Energy.
