Hábitat Latam "Cities that Feel"

From August 25-27, members of the City Science Network will take part in Hábitat LATAM "Cities that Feel", one of the region’s most important gatherings on sustainable urban development, hosted in Guadalajara, Mexico.

The event will bring together voices from across Latin America to explore how we design, inhabit, and transform cities for a more resilient and equitable future. City Science Labs from the network will present ongoing research and tools related to mobility, housing, decentralized infrastructure, and participatory planning.

Some team members from the City Science Network will contribute directly to the program. Participants include Kent Larson, Luis Alonso, Leticia Izquierda, Andres Rico, Parfait Atchade, and Michael Lin from MIT; Zuriñe Varela, Scientific Director of the City Science Lab Gipuzkoa; Marta Domenech, Director of the City Science Lab Andorra; Fernando Perez, Director of the City Science Lab Biobío; and Gesa Ziemer, Director of the City Science Lab Hamburg. In addition, the full team of the City Science Lab Guadalajara will take part in the event, contributing local perspectives and experiences.
