Danielle Wood was quoted in an Aeon article by Ramin Skibba, "Decolonising the cosmos."  The article reads, in part:

"Danielle Wood, the director of Space Enabled, argues that allowing the most powerful countries and companies to claim space property, territory or resources for themselves constitutes an imperial mindset. ‘If we just take the default view today, people will be going to these places with an extractive mindset that says: “I have the technology, money and power, and I’ll use these resources until I’m satisfied, and I will not be concerned with other countries and future generations,”’ she says."
